The Mind Of A Moron

I can’t handle when people won’t commit to one TV channel long enough, I’m not asking for much, even 5 minutes per channel would be okay. And don’t get me wrong if it’s a commercial break knock yourself out and feel free to browse but dammit get back to the channel you started at before the two minutes of advertisements are up.

The main problem is when someone refused to watch a particular show, and I mean any show, it’s one minute here one minute there, it makes for horrible tv.

Do you ever talk really load in hope that someone else will hear you?

I do it all the time it’s fun, and sometimes a little twisted. A prime example of when this has helped me is when I had a project to hand in and shouted “Dammit, I don’t have a stapler” sure enough someone a few minuted later handed me one. This saved the effort of doing something for myself while at the same time I didn’t actually have to ask for help.

Another fun way of doing this is to ask someone you with a question and hope that someone around you (thats not part of the conversation) answers. Once they do you immediately scream “Stop eavesdropping on me”.

This is kinda what I’m doing right now with this blog there are no readers, but if I speak loudly enough maybe someone will listen in as I ramble to myself.

Okay so you know how people will train by weighting themselves down. For example someone may wear ankle or wrist weights, others may go so far as to wear weighted clothing. The idea behind this is that is it makes even the simplest task hard. So when your using the weights your capabilities are of course lowered, but once you take them off you’re much stronger and apt than you were beforehand.

Well weights do for the body what drugs do for the mind. When use drugs (be it marijuana or alcohol) it makes thinking limitlessly harder, even to make a coherent sentence is hard. But thats okay because really you’re doing weight training for your mind. Think if you can learn to speak clearly when you’re fucked up imagine what you could do when your normal, the possibilities are limitless.

It’s weird because we all do love the smell, if any one comes out and says they don’t, well their probably lying. But every time I smell it and enjoy it I feel guilty, even when I do so inadvertently such as when I filled the lawnmower earlier today.

Well it’s world water day, what that? No idea, until I visited google today and was enticed by their logo so clicked to find out.

I bet most people aren’t aware of “world water day” but since most people use google I’m sure by the end of the day they will be, kinda cool if you ask me.

I make most of my money from websites (okay all) it provides enough that I don’t need to get a part time job.

In all honesty most of the time I don’t work very hard, often I’ll spend the whole day doing nothing productive. Today was one of those days, but I’m exhuasted, why?

Well, I got lucky and made an extra $3 off someone signing up for a lead offer on one of my sites, combine this with solid google fastclick and other revenue that makes today an $18 day for me. And as far as I’m concerned if I made more money than usual I must have worked harder, so now I’m tierder.

Justified no, but I really do feel more acomplished and having worked harder, oh well it’s a good feeling I’ll take it and pretend life is hard.

While the Simpsons had been going downhill ove the years, it’s worth pointing out that their cracks at Wal-mart today were very well done.

Mind you it seems like everyone is taking a shot at Wal-mart these days, but oh well thier still ripe for parody.

As I was walking down the stairs from my room I herd a huge BANG! And I mean loud, at first I thought my desk top (heavy oak desk) slid off of something and hit the ground. It turns out that a bowl in my room exploded, half of it got shot about a meter. I have no idea why the only explanation I can think of was that the cold air from my open window might have caused it to contract too quickly, but it was messed up.

I hate it, people to just wiat for domains to expire only to snap them up and fill them with search results.

I had a domain, crazedgoose.com and I sold the site a while back, the new owner let is expire so I thought great I can re-start the site as I really loved teh name and had a great logo for it (that I didnt sell)

But to see whats there now is just a disgrace.

Today I got a git from yahoo to one of my blogs (worlddominationplans.com) that was searching for “texas holdem wordpress inurl:index” well I guess all the content spam in that blog finally did me some good.

I’m sure enough has already been said about the topic but I might as well throw in my own two cents.

This is how I see it.

First its a bad move by google.

I think (or for that matter hope) google will buckle under pressure and at the very least
a) give webmasters an opt out
b) somehow compensate webmasters (maybe our
afilliate links in our content)
c) end it all together

At the Northern Voice conference today it seemd to me a lot of people are worried about bandwidth. Why, becuase they are paying to much to start with so I’m going to sugest two great hosts both of whom I have had experiance with.

1and1 - I’m currently using them and paying 60/month for managed (50 for unmanaged) server with 500 gig of transfer.

ev1servers - Formerly rackshack, for 99 you can get 1000gig of transfer. I used to use these guys and had a good experiance with them, I still buy my domains (6.49) there.

If your two small to go with one of these, consider splitting it with someone else, as it is huge savings in the long run, remember with these plans you can host multiple sites at no extra charge as well.

I have to work in lots of groups at school, and it can be a pain, everyhting is talking about all the things they have to work around I feel so insignifigant (tho of course Im not). I’ve basically just come to this conclusion.

Does anyone else always feel compeled to chew on pens, I find myself chewing on someones pen even if its borrowed (who knows where its been). Or if i found the pen on the grounds, a few days later you can bet its in my mouth.

No its not family guy, but, its is funny.

I have faith in tv again, I will again let it run my life.

I find it really weird the things we can find our selves caring about…

Today while watching the OC I had genuine concern for the characters, I care what happens to them. It’s disgusting, I don’t even care about most real life people I meet, and here I am caring about the TV characters?

Whats sad is I cant just say, “I’m twisted” becuase its not just me, thast what the messed up part is they everybody cares what happen to their favorite characters, I’m sickened by myself but I dont see a change in the future, so I’ll learn to lvie with it.

I have something stuck in my teeth, I wish I had a mint toothpick those are awsome.

Those messed up looking things on my face are sunflower seeds, I clipped about 30 of them to my face.

It definatly qualified as a “lifes greatest acomplishment”

Now that I’ve finally decided I’m going to have my own blog (that is a real one) I feel compeled to say thinging interesting. But sadly I’ve got nothing, I guess more will come. It’s kind of a pity that I’m making sucha crappy post luckly odds are that noone will be reading it, so I’m sure there will be no complaints.
